Gluten-free Hot Cross Buns

Well, you all know I’ve been trying out recipes from this book

Yesterday I made the Hot Cross Buns as I was really in the mood for an Easter treat. They are truly excellent with great flavour and texture. You’ll have to buy the book to get the recipe though! It doesn’t take long to whip up, much less than making traditional buns. I did leave mine in slightly too long and they caught slightly. I also didn’t want to put the icing crosses on which are suggested in this book. So next time I make them, I might make up a flour paste and put the traditional crosses on. As they are though, they are wonderful teacakes.
